We Get Thanks

Just some of the “Thank You” correspondence we receive

Over the years, the Leprechauns have received many letters and cards of thanks and gratitude from children, families and hospital staff—here are just a few, starting with the most recent.

This donation represents two years of proceeds donated to us from the St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun Fair held at the Assumption Academy at Saint Albert the Great. For more than thirty-five years, students, teachers and parents have been participating in The Leprechaun Fair to support The Leprechaun Foundation. So, a big thank you to them for making this donation possible.

Dear Leprechaun Foundation,

We wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for your amazing generosity again this year. We had the honor and privilege to see the smiles, tears of joy, and relief of the 15 families that you adopted for the 2022 holidays. We cannot thank you enough for all that you do, not only for the 15 families, but also for the children and families at MetroHealth.

Sincerely,

A Pat on the Back for Backpacks

September 9, 2022

Rainbow Babies & Children’s HospitalOnce again, The Sickle Cell Center at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital sends a special thank you to The Leprechaun Foundation for providing funding for our annual Back to School Supplies drive. Prior to COVID, we planned a fun day filled with activities, music, and lunch and all the children were able to leave with a backpack filled with school supplies.

The Sickle Cell Team wanted to continue providing the backpacks filled with supplies as it provides a much-needed resource to assist with a successful school year to our patients and their siblings. This year, we were pleased to be able to offer over 110 backpacks to our patients and their siblings in a drive through event.

The children get so excited to peek inside the bag and see which supplies they have to take to school. And the parents share their gratitude as to how this program assists them financially, lessoning the expenses and stress during the beginning of the school year. So, thank you Leprechauns for assisting so many Rainbow families with your generous donation.

Sincerely,

Amy Fink, LISW-S
