About Us

Nothing in life is quite as satisfying...

The Leprechaun Foundation grants the greatest individual dream or desire to terminally and chronically ill children.

The Foundation also works to complete select projects that help these special children and their families. The Leprechaun Foundation is set apart from other wish granting organizations by the simple idea that all wishes are granted anonymously.

The child’s wish simply comes true, making it a magical experience for everyone involved.

By donating their time, talents, money and contacts, members of The Leprechaun Foundation find the knowledge that they made a child’s dream come true reward enough for all their efforts. The Leprechauns are all volunteers, there is no paid staff.

From humble beginnings...

The Leprechaun Foundation was started by two law enforcement officers who felt a very strong personal need to help sick children. The Foundation was established in early 1980 at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Within just a few years, concerned businessmen, their wives and the wives of Cleveland Browns players established contacts with other Cleveland area hospitals that were involved with the treatment of terminally and chronically ill children.

All donations are tax exempt...

The Leprechaun Foundation is incorporated in the State of Ohio under Charter 553129, and the IRS has determined that The Leprechaun Foundation is a nonprofit, tax exempt, 501(C) charitable organization. A letter of designation is on file. All donations are tax exempt

The company we keep...

At this time, The Leprechaun Foundation works with Child Life Workers, Social Workers, Nurses and Physicians at area hospitals.

Nothing in life is quite as satisfying as helping The Leprechaun Foundation make wishes come true. Please consider donating your time, talents or money. If you're interested, please contact us.
